If you are unsure which finish your product has, stop and contact us before cleaning

Patina & Clear Coat Finish (Interior Use)

This product features a chemically applied patina sealed with a clear protective coating.

This finish is intentionally varied in color and texture and is part of its character. No two pieces will look exactly alike.

Recommended Cleaning

  • Use a furniture polish such as Pledge® or Endust®, or an equivalent product

  • Apply with a clean, dry rag or towel

  • A soft duster may be used for routine dust removal

  • Use light pressure only

Cleaning Frequency

  • Clean at least once per month to maintain the appearance and protect the finish

Do Not Use

The following will damage the finish and should never be used:

  • Water (including damp cloths or sprays)

  • Bleach

  • Abrasive chemicals

  • Abrasive materials, including:

    • Scotch-Brite pads

    • Steel wool

If a product is designed to scrub, scour, or “cut through” buildup, it is not appropriate for this finish.

Important Notes

  • This finish is intended for interior use only

  • If the surface requires more than the cleaning methods listed above, stop and contact us before proceeding

Bottom Line

Furniture polish only. Dry, soft materials only. No water. No abrasives. Clean monthly.

Powder Coated Finish (Exteiror or Interior Use)

Our powder coated products are finished with a durable, baked-on coating designed for long-term performance. With basic care, this finish will maintain its appearance for many years.

Recommended Cleaning

  • Clean using mild soap and water

  • Apply with a soft cloth, sponge, or towel

  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water

  • Dry with a soft towel to prevent water spots

Cleaning Frequency

  • Clean as needed, or at least every 1–3 months, depending on environment and exposure

Do Not Use

The following products may damage or degrade the finish and should not be used:

  • Furniture polish (including Pledge® or similar products)

  • Abrasive cleaners or chemicals

  • Abrasive materials, including:

    • Scotch-Brite pads

    • Steel wool

Avoid any product intended to scrub, scour, or cut through buildup.

Salt & Ice Melt Warning

  • Salt and ice-melting products are corrosive and can damage powder coated finishes

  • Avoid direct or prolonged contact with:

    • Rock salt

    • Ice melt

    • De-icing chemicals

  • In areas where salt or ice melt is used, clean the surface promptly with mild soap and water to remove residue

Failure to remove salt buildup can lead to premature corrosion.

Rust or Finish Damage

  • If any rust is observed, please contact us so we can properly address it

  • Small, isolated rust spots may be temporarily treated using:

    • A small amount of liquid paint (such as Rust-Oleum®)

    • Color should closely match the original finish

Addressing rust early helps prevent further damage.

Bottom Line

Mild soap and water only. No furniture polish. No abrasives. Keep salt off. Address rust early.
